Hyderabad: T-advocates on Monday lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police against AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, TD national general-secretary Nara Lokesh and TS TD MLA A. Revanth Reddy, accusing them of making defamatory comments against TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, during the three-day Mahanadu held at Tirupati.

The advocates, in their complaint alleged that Mr Naidu and the other TD leaders’ comments against Mr Rao have hurt the sentiments of the people of TS.

“Naidu said that TS people should wage a war against KCR and revolt against his rule. Revanth Reddy in his speech said that he will end KCR. This is not only an open threat, but also disturbs peace in the state,” the complainants said.

They said that such comments in an open forum were not fair, and by doing so, the TD leaders not only hurt the TS people, but also incited passions among the people of both states.
