Tamil Nadu increases reservation for differently-abled
The four per cent quota would be given in all government vacancies, public sector units, boards, local bodies etc.

Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisami on Tuesday announced that the state government would increase the reservation for differently-abled in government jobs to four per cent from the existing three per cent. In a statement here, he said within this quota, one per cent each would be given to visually handicapped, hearing impaired, mentally handicapped and physically handicapped.
The four per cent quota would be given in all government vacancies, public sector units, boards, local bodies, educational institutions and government aided organizations, the release added.
