Hyderabad: Babu caught red-handed taking bribe

Hyderabad: A survey officer, Kurusenga Srinivas, of Jannaram mandal in Macherial district was caught red-handed at the tahsildar’s office while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000.

The accused official demanded the bribe from a complainant, Mr B. Vinod, to conduct a survey and submit the location sketch pertaining to the agricultural land of his mother in Jannaram.

The complainant needed the survey to secure a land conversion certificate.

ACB officials recovered the bribe amount, arrested Srinivas and produced him before the special court for ACB cases.
