Kochi: The new generation which has difficulty in accepting failures, should learn to accept failures along with success, said actor Mohanlal. He was speaking after launching the Council of CBSE Schools Kerala and felicitating CBSE toppers at a function held at JT Pac, Tripunithura, here on Thursday. Mohanlal also released logo of the newly-formed council on the occasion.
“The tolerance level of the new generation is low. Even small failures lead them to depression. While trying to succeed, they should prepare to face failures also,” said Mohanlal. The actor felicitated the CBSE rank holders and toppers of 10th and 12th standards from all the districts and state. The students were presented with medals and certificates. Jose Thomas, president, Council of CBSE Schools Kerala and chairman, Choice Group, presided.
“The Council of CBSE Schools Kerala, which has around 550 members, has been formed to act as a link between CBSE schools on the one side and the central and state governments on the other. The council was formed jointly by CBSE school managements and school principals. It aims to raise academic standard through innovative curriculum, improve teaching quality through novel teaching training programmes, initiate steps in coordination with various departments to get necessary recognition for the CBSE students in the fields of art, sports and science and introduce scholarships for the students,” said Dr. Indira Rajan, patron of the council.
