CBI Court Grants Permission to AP CM Jagan and Vijayasai Reddy for Overseas Travel
Hyderabad: The CBI court at Hyderabad on Thursday allowed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRC MP V. Vijayasai Reddy to go to abroad, on their personal and official work respectively.
Jagan Mohan Reddy had sought permission to go to the UK to attend his daughter's graduation ceremony and Vijayasai Reddy had sought permission to go to the UK, the USA, Germany, Singapore and other countries as part of an AP government delegate to invite investments to the state.
They had to take permission of the court to go abroad because they are on bail in the alleged quid pro quo cases. The CBI court, after hearing the contentions of the CBI and the petitioners, permitted to go them abroad for a limited period of time.
