Traffic Advisory For Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsavam Event in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Cyberabad traffic police issued a traffic advisory for Friday, September 1, in connection with the Closing ceremony of Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsavam (Azaadi ke Amrit Mahostav) at HICC, Madhapur. As Chief Minister K Chandra Shekhar Rao and several other VVIPs will be attending this event, heavy traffic movement is expected on the roads around the venue and surrounding areas.

To minimise inconvenience to the commuters, traffic will be diverted on a need basis.  Traffic from Neeru’s junction towards Gachibowli Junction may take diversion at COD (Ayyappa Society, Madhapur) towards Durgam Cheruvu, IKEA, Bio Diversity junction, Gachibowli and vice versa and avoid Cyber Towers Junction.

Traffic from Miyapur, Kothaguda, Hafeezpet areas towards Hitec city, Cyber Towers, Jubilee Hills may use Rolling Hills AIG Hospital, IKEA Durgam Cheruvu road and avoid Cyber Towers Junction.

Traffic from RC Puram, Chandanagar areas towards Madhapur, Gachibowli areas may use BHEL, Nallagandla, HCU, Gachibowli Road and avoid Allwyn – Kondapur road.

Heavy vehicles are prohibited on the routes from JNTU towards Cyber Towers, Miyapur towards Kothaguda, Kavuri Hills towards Kothaguda, Biodiversity junction towards Cyber Towers and from Narayanamma College towards Gachibowli.

Further, movement of Heavy vehicles will be regulated in alternate routes for smooth movement of traffic during day time.
