Ex-TDP leader Revanth Reddy joins Cong in presence of Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Former Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) working president and legislator Revanth Reddy on Tuesday joined the Congress party.

Revanth who was in Delhi on Tuesday joined Congress in presence of party vice president Rahul Gandhi.

On Saturday, October 28, the former TDP leader tendered his resignation from all party posts and membership and his MLA seat.

Reddy submitted his resignation letter in the office of TDP National President N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Earlier, Reddy had reportedly said he didn't want to continue in the party but would carry on his fight against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
