Congress issues notice to its netas for meeting meps

Srinagar: The Congress on Wednesday issued show cause notices to its three second-rung leaders in J&K for meeting the EU parliamentarians during their India visit without prior permission, and sought an explanation from them.

While former minister and MLA Usman Majid met the delegation members in New Delhi on Monday, the party’s state general secretary Channi Singh and spokesperson Farooq Andrabi called on them in a Srinagar hotel on Wednesday.
