Hyderabad: The management of Devnar School for the Blind has called on local authorities to clean the area around their premises, highlighting that the piles of garbage scattered nearby pose a health hazard to the students and staff.

A visit to the institution revealed that school’s entrance was surrounded by garbage, creating an unsanitary environment.

“The garbage exposes us to diseases and the smell makes breathing difficult at times. As we begin a new chapter in our new building, we request the authorities to clean the premises as well,” said P. Padma, the warden of the school.
