Medical Insurance Coverage Increased for Employees

 Hyderabad: The civil supplies department has increased the group medical claim for permanent employees from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. The bid was won by New India Insurance Company as it quoted the lowest amount for providing the insurance cover, said department commissioner D.S. Chauhan. A committee of officials has been formed to decide the rates abd quotations were sought from public sector enterprises.
