The YSRC hoped women ministers would win with good margins but all those hopes were shattered.

Jagan Mohan Reddy regained the Pulivendula Assembly seat with 61,687 votes against his nearest Telugu Desam rival M. Ravindranath Reddy (B. Tech Ravi). Jagan got 1,16,315 votes which is 61.38 per cent of the total votes but his margin plummeted this time.

He won the Pulivendula election with 90,110 votes in the 2019 election.

Minister for forest and mines Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is all set to win the election from Punganur Assembly constituency.

He was leading with 6,095 votes against his nearest rival of TD Challa Ramachandra Reddy. Barring Ramachandra Reddy, no other minister leading during the counting of votes.
