Hyderabad: Former WeHub CEO Deepthi Ravula has been reportedly seeking ways to attend the upcoming WeHub board meeting though she does not hold the CEO position.

Sources within the organisation have indicated that Ravula has been reaching out to current employees, either over the phone or when she came across them outside office, requesting an invitation to the meeting.

Allegations of politicisation during Ravula's leadership have surfaced, with claims that WeHub activities were often aligned with the interests of the BRS, which was in power at that point in time. Sources also informed that she had referred to several IAS officers as 'chotus' and told people that they "do not know who you're dealing with" when she hadn't been invited to the board meeting.

The services of Akhilesh Mahurkar, former chief operating officer of WeHub, were terminated following allegations that he had continued to work as an informant for Ravula even after her removal.

This development has complicated the internal dynamics of the organisation as it works to clean up and get back in focus on fostering female entrepreneurship in the region, under the leadership of the recently appointed CEO Sita Palacholla.

As the board meeting approaches, employees have expressed concerns about the potential influence of Ravula's attempts to engage with them and the broader implications for WeHub's mission and operations.
