Gurugram Fire Extinguisher Mishap Claims Two Lives

Gurugram: Two people died in a blast at a fire extinguisher manufacturing factory, in Daulatabad Industrial Area, Gurugram, Haryana.
The incident took place around 3 am on Saturday.
Almost 24 firemen arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control, as they received the information.
According to Fire Officer Ramesh Kumar, at least four people were injured and shifted to the hospital.

"We brought fire tenders from nearby fire stations and blasts were still happening then. Around 24 fire tenders were deployed in the operation. This factory manufactures fireballs which are like a fire extinguisher. Nearby buildings suffered damage. We are being told that two deaths occurred and three to four injured people were shifted to hospital before we reached here," Kumar said. Karan Goel, DCP West said, “The blast occurred at around 3 am. Two persons died while several others are under treatment at various hospitals.”
He also mentioned that a search and rescue operation was underway.
