MP: Rahul, not Congress, fails in Haryana polls: Mohan
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav has said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has failed as a leader in the drubbing of the grand old party in the Haryana Assembly elections, results of which were declared on Tuesday.
“Rahul Gandhi, not the Congress, has failed in the loss of the grand old party in Haryana Assembly polls”, Mr Yadav said in his reaction to the victory of BJP in the state for the third time in a row in the polls.
“When I went there (Haryana), I had said that Rahul Gandhi will fail for the third time. Even Congress leaders don’t like his leadership, and people know this. The BJP’s lotus is blossoming again in Haryana”, Mr Yadav said in his post on X.
The chief minister gave credit for the hat-trick victory of BJP in Haryana to the performance of the BJP government in Haryana in the last two terms and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr Yadav had campaigned for the party candidates in four Assembly seats, Dadri, Bhibani, Tosham, and Bhowani Kheda, in Haryana and all the four candidates emerged victorious.
He had also campaigned for BJP candidate in Samba Assembly constituency in Jammu in the just concluded Jammu and Kashmir polls.
The party won the Samba seat.
The results of Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir were also declared on Tuesday.
The National Conference- Congress alliance won power in Jammu and Kashmir.
