National science day festival celebrated at Tiruchy

Tiruchy: The ongoing national science day festival was celebrated by the local students’ branch of the Tamil Nadu Science Movement at RC Elementary school at the suburb of Sembattu near Tiruchy on Tuesday, and prizes distributed to the winners of various competitions for students.  

Distributing prizes to the students, founder of the city based AIM too High trust R Mohan hailed the efforts of the science movement and said that such activities would increase science temper among small children.

Speaking on the occasion, M.Kavanagan, state vice-president of the movement said that they planned to celebrate the year long national science day festival from November 7 last year in at least 3000 places across the state with the message,” Engal Desam ellorukkum Maana Desam, and the festival would conclude on November 7 this year.
