Kottayam: The Changanassery police on Friday submitted the chargesheet in the Anjaly murder case, over seven years after the incident occurred. Circle-inspector Binu Varghese presented the 73-page chargesheet and the supporting documents, including the details of the phone calls, before the Changanassery judicial first class magistrate court.
Anjaly, a paraplegic, was thrown into a ravine at Karikkad top at Vagamon by her husband Pradeep Kumar in October, 2009, after she was administered sleeping pills. Her bones were retrieved after search by the police and the locals over three years after the incident.
