Hyderabad: CAT exam held on December 4, results in January

Hyderabad: The Common Admission Test-2016 will be held on December 4 and results will be declared in the second week of January. Online registrations will start on August 8 and continue till September 22.

IIM-Bangalore will conduct test for admission into PG programmes in management in 20 IIMs and leading B-schools like Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi, Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, among others. About 4,000 seats are on offer.

The three-hour exam will be held in two sessions across 138 cities including Hyderabad, Khammam, Karimnagar in TS and Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Kur-nool, Chittoor in AP.

Aspirants will be tested in verbal and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Mr K. Ramnath, course director at a coaching institute, said 15,000 candidates take the test from AP and TS.
