Traffic curbs for ABVP meet at Parade Ground

HYDERABAD: Traffic will not be allowed on the road from Plaza Junction (on SP Road) to Tivoli Junction from 2 pm to 7 pm to facilitate the proposed ABVP meeting at Parade Ground in Secunderabad on Tuesday. Police will also shut the road from Brooke Bond junction to Balamrai, according to a traffic police advisory issued on Monday in connection with the meeting

Police asked motorists to avoid the roads towards Parade Ground. Police suggested that those intending to travel by evening trains from the Secunderabad railway station and Jubilee bus station to start early.

Additional commissioner of police, traffic G. Sudheer Babu in a statement advised motorists to avoid the crossroads at Chilkalguda, Alugaddabavi, Sangeet, YMCA, Patny, SBH, Plaza, CTO, Brooke Bond junction, Tivoli, Sweekar-Upakar, Secunderabad Club, Trimulgherry, Tadbund, Centre Point, Diamond Point, Bowenpally, Rasoolpura and Begumpet

According to the advisory, traffic from Bowenpally and Tadbund, towards Tivoli will be diverted at Balamrai towards CTO. Traffic from Karkhana, JBS towards SBH-Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upkar towards Tivoli and till CTO depending on the situation.

Traffic from Karkhana and JBS towards SBH-Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upkar towards YMCA, Clock Tower, Patny.

Traffic from SBH towards Sweekar Upkar will be diverted towards YMCA or CTO. Traffic from RTA-Trimulgherry, Karkhana, Malkajgiri and Safilguda towards Plaza will be diverted at Tivoli towards Sweekar Upkar, YMCA or Brooke Bond, Balamrai, CTO junctions.

NCC Ground (Bison Polo Ground), Imperial Garden, Dhobi Ghat, OU PG College and Cantonment Park ground have been earmarked for parking vehicles coming to the meeting.
