Court nod for Jagan's London visit from Saturday
Vijayawada: The line was cleared for a foreign tour of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy -- for a week from September 2 -- with the CBI court giving its nod on Thursday.
Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his wife Bharati Reddy, would be visiting London. He filed an application in the special CBI court in Hyderabad seeking its permission for the travel. This was in view of the cases pending there against Jagan Mohan Reddy. The court granted him the nod by setting aside the objections from CBI.
According to party sources, Jagan Mohan Reddy would be leaving for Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on September 2 to pay homage to his father late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy on his death anniversary. From there, he would reach Hyderabad and fly to London along with his family. He would spend a week with his daughter in London before returning to Amaravati on September 8.
