Kerala passes resolution backing strike

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala state Assembly hailed the military action of the Indian Army against Pakistan. The House unanimously passed a resolution in this regard. “This House offers all supports to the action of the Indian Army against the cross-border terrorism. The military is appreciated for the initiative to ensure protection of the country.”

“In order to prevent scaling up of tension, efforts shall be taken at the diplomatic and political levels. The House urges the Centre to initiate steps in this regard,” the Chief Minister said in the resolution. Opposition leader V.S. Ramesh Chennithala and BJP MLA O. Rajagopal also spoke in support of the resolution.
