Thiruvananthapuram: Former chief minister Oommen Chandy dared the government to bring out the report of the A.K. Balan sub-committee that had been formed to check the fag-end decisions taken by the UDF government. “It has been five months since you have been in power. What has caused the delay,” Mr Chandy asked during the discussion on Supplementary Demands for Grants in the Budget in the Assembly on Monday.

“Who is preventing you from coming out with the report,” he said. The formation of the sub-committee was one of the first decisions taken by the Pinarayi Vijayan government. The sub-committee was asked to probe the decisions taken at 11 cabinet meetings during the last two months of the UDF tenure.
