Hyderabad: It was a tragic day for one Bhanu Sri, a first-year intermediate student studying at the Model School in Veldanda, Nagarkurnool district on Wednesday. According to reports, the student was informed of her father’s passing, by relatives, soon after her exam was over.
Bhanu wrote her first-year exam at the government junior College here and then rushed to her village of Chintapally in Ranga Reddy district for the funeral of her father. In fact, she was not told about her father’s demise.
Bhanu Sri’s father, who was undergoing treatment in the Osmania hospital died late on Tuesday. Her uncle, accompanied Bhanu to the exam centre and stayed with her for the full duration of the test.
He then accompanied her back to the village. It has been revealed that the girl was not told about her father's death until the exam was over, her uncle said.
