WARANGAL: Stray dogs attacked a seven-year-old boy playing outside his house near Pochamma Gudi in Kashibugga area of Warangal town on Wednesday.

When the boy, Rohith, started screaming, locals rushed and drove away the four dogs that had attacked the boy. By then, the boy had suffered bites on his head and hands.

His parents rushed Rohith to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Hospital, where he is recuperating.

Locals alleged the strays have been attacking people, particularly children, over the past few days. They had informed the municipal department but no steps had been taken to check the stray dog menace.
