Govt won’t collapse: MB Patil
Speaking to reporters here, he said the government would face a real threat only if around 15 MLAs quit.
Hubballi: Home minister M.B. Patil asserted here on Monday that the state government would not fall due to the resignation of one or two legislators.
Speaking to reporters here, he said the government would face a real threat only if around 15 MLAs quit.
“Operation Lotus will never succeed. The coalition government will complete its full term,” he declared, adding that although Gokak MLA, Ramesh Jarkiholi had been talking about resigning for the last few months, the Congress high command would persuade him to remain the party.
Asked about reports that MLA, Anand Singh had written to him opposing the sale of land to Jindal Steel in Ballari, he denied having received any such letter from him after being appointed as head of the cabinet sub-committee on the land deal.
