Maddulapalli Market to get cold storage soon

Khammam: The construction of a mega cold storage facility on the premises of the Maddulapalli Market will commence soon, following the allotment of 2.1 acres by the government and a loan from a public-sector bank.

Market committee members said that the facility will help farmers store produce like chilli and sell them when prices peak. The market caters to at least one lakh farmers.
