Vijayawada: South Central Railway’s Vijayawada Division on Friday started a three-month Preventive Vigilance Campaign to fight against corruption and establish a robust transparent system.

Coinciding with the occasion, Vijayawada divisional railway manager Narendra A. Patil released a poster on building awareness about Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) Resolution.

Narendra Patil said any organisation can achieve its fullest potential only when its employees work with integrity and there are robust built-in checks to prevent corruption at all levels.

He underlined that PIDPI awareness campaign is aimed to enlighten the staff about the provision that protects the identity of the complainant by keeping it confidential in the larger interest of the organisation.

The divisional manager said as part of preventive vigilance campaign, they will be taking up capacity building programmes, systemic improvement measures, updating of circulars / guidelines / manuals, and complaint disposal.
