Telangana HC Calls For Mediation for Rs 4 Cr Dispute Between TS, AP Film Corp

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court recommended that the long-pending issue between the AP State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited and the state government over about Rs 4 crore be sent to mediation for settlement.

The corporation claims that the Telangana state government owes it Rs 4,07,71,134 for utilising its building premises but is not settling the Bill. The government has not disputed the claim but did not respond.

The court requested Justice Challa Kodanda Ram, former judge of the Telangana Court, to mediate the dispute and directed the parties to appear before  him on September 12.
