Government Launches Month-long JAS Campaign

Vijayawada: Special chief secretary (Health) M.T. Krishna Babu on Friday launched the month-long Jagananna Arogya Suraksha (JAS) programme during which the Arogyasri scheme will be publicised house to house by ANMs and CHOs.

On the occasion, Krishna Babu unveiled the Arogyasri brochures at Government General Hospital in Guntur in the presence of hospital superintendent Dr. Y. Kiran Kumar. The brochures will be distributed house to house as part of the JAS campaign.

The special CS said the brochures have complete information regarding Arogyasri. ANMs and CHOs will explain to householders how they can download Arogyasri app and look for nearby Arogyasri network hospitals.

He said health workers will also explain how patients can use referral services in Arogyasri network hospitals.
