Visakhapatnam job mela provides employment opportunities for 1,256 job seekers
Visakhapatnam: A mega job mela organized by APMSME chairman and Visakhapatnam West coordinator Adari Anand in Visakhapatnam on Friday witnessed a tremendous response from unemployed youth, with 1,256 job seekers securing employment opportunities.
Representatives of 85 companies participated in the event, conducting basic interviews and selecting candidates for various positions.
Y.V. Subba Reddy, regional coordinator of YSRC, praised Adari Anand's efforts and reaffirmed the government's commitment to establishing skill development centers across the state to enhance employability among youth.
He anticipated a surge in job opportunities following the commissioning of Bhogapuram International Airport and the establishment of the capital in Visakhapatnam. Additionally, he emphasized the chief minister's unwavering commitment to reserving 75% of jobs for local youth.
The job mela will continue on Saturday, providing further opportunities for unemployed youth to secure employment.
