Telangana DGP asks TSSP to be alert of new challenges
Hyderabad: Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar said that Telangana State Special Police (TSSP) plays a key role in maintaining peace and security in the state. After assuming the office, Anjani held his first review of the TSSP.
To boost the morale of the TSSP personnel, he also announced that a rolling trophy will be presented among the battalions on the basis of competition for best performance of duties, administrative aspects in battalions, clean campus management, effective supervision and welfare programs.
He made it clear that continuous training is necessary to perform duties more efficiently. " As the department is facing new challenges in maintaining law & order and security duties in the face of the changing times, and to face these challenges, the professionalism of the field level officers to the supervisory officers should be improved so that they have the highest standards," he said.
He advised them to upgrade themselves on modern technology. “ Give utmost priority to solve the administrative problems of the staff immediately. Special training should be given in driving and mechanical departments with support from the local transport department,” he told the personnel.
Earlier, Additional DG TSSP Abhilash Bisht and other TSSP officials welcomed Anjani Kumar on his first visit to the TSSP head quarters after assuming the charge of DGP.
