A travel buff and a freelance assistant film director by profession, the 27-year-old Jigar and Ronak left their residence at Vasai in the early hours of Wednesday, for their first stop – Ahmedabad.
“I want to see if I can travel the world without any money. So I thought of starting with my own country,” Jigar said.
What could be his itinerary in this mission?
“I hitched a ride from Vasai to Surat and I plan to reach Ahmedabad by tonight. On the way, I stopped at a roadside dhaba, informed them about my mission and I got free food. I plan to adopt the same strategy in other areas as well,” he added.
Jigar’s next destination is New Delhi with a halt in Rajasthan. He also plans to document the entire trip through pictures and small video clips from each state.
There have been stories of travellers, exploring the length and breadth of India but Jigar’s mission stands out.
One would want him to come back with rich experiences and share his dream that came without any cost. The youngster has not set a deadline to complete the trip. Watch this space for further updates.
