Hyderabad: One month on, no report yet on Niloufer deaths
A state health department officer said there were some technical inquires that the collector wanted conducted before submitting the report.
Hyderabad: Over a month since the death of five women who underwent C-Section at of Niloufer Hospital, the investigation report has not been submitted by the Hyderabad collector.
Mr S.A. Maqsood, husband of Nusrat Begum, one of the five women who died, said, “We have not got justice. There is there is no word on why my wife died. Only the Shishu Vihar has been calling up asking for the details of the child.” The department of women and child welfare is checking for adoption of the infants.
Mr Venkatesh, the husband of Anusha, one of the victims, said. “The petition came up for hearing in the Human Rights Commission but there are no details on why she died. Only a preliminary report has been submitted. We have not been called by the collector for our version on my wife’s health condition.”
