Kerala Assembly Elections: 1,203 candidates in electoral fray

Thiruvananthapuram: As the time limit for withdrawing nominations ended on Monday, a total of 1203 candidates are in the fray - 1094 males and 109 females.
As many as 1647 candidates had filed nominations.  

During the last assembly polls 971 candidates were in the fray. The highest number of candidates are in Malappuram, 145 and the lowest in Wayanad, 29.
