Man on a walkathon to Srisailam, fulfills seeing Revanth as CM' vow
Hyderabad: Damodararao Annepu, a 37-year-old follower of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is on a walkathon from the city to the Srisailam temple, not to seek blessings for himself but to fulfill his votive that he would undertake the padayatra if his favourite leader got the top job.
“I am not affiliated to any party. I am doing it just out of my love for Revanth Reddy,” Damodararao, a resident of LB Nagar, told Deccan Chronicle.
He started his journey on January 1 and has walked 150 km. Covering around 35 km a day, he hopes to reach the temple in a couple of days. He walks all day while at night he takes shelter in fuel stations and temples.
“It was my wish to see Revanth Reddy at the CM and I am happy to be fulfilling my vows,” he added.
