Khammam: Drug control officer killed in accident

Khammam: Banothu Pallavi, 43-year-old additional drug controller of Warangal region, was killed in a road accident which took place at Tettelapadu Crossroads in Tirumala-yapalem mandal in the afternoon on Wednesday.

The accident occurred when she was going  to Warangal. Her car hit a stationary lorry at Tettelapadu Crossroads.

Pallavi, who was sitting in the rear seat, thrown to the front under the impact. She suffered injuries on her head and died on the spot.

The driver, N. Nagaraju, a native of Mulugu, sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Pallavi is survived by a son and a daughter who live in Hanamkonda.
