Udupi: Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, who was injured during a 'Tulabhara' ritual where an iron rod from a weighing scale accidentally fell on his head, confirmed that he is doing fine. The seer urged his followers not to be concerned, following a video that circulated on social media showing the incident in which the seer suffered a minor injury.

The seer, who also serves as the trustee of Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Theertha Kshetra Trust, recently visited Delhi. During his stay, devotees organized a 'Tulabhara' ceremony in his honor.  As he sat on the scale, the rope supporting it snapped, causing the iron rod to fall onto Swamiji's head.

Although the incident happened two days ago, the video gained widespread attention on Friday. Addressing concerns, the seer released a video message to his followers, assuring them that he sustained no injuries. "As you can see, there are no injuries on my head," he said with a smile in the video.

Meanwhile, Udupi district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar personally inquired about Swamiji's health and later took to X to share the update on the seer's health condition.

"I inquired about the health of Pejavar Mutt seer and his personal assistant told me that the Swamiji is now healthy and traveling from New Delhi to Ayodhya. I pray for his long life and good health," she said.
