Take measures to alleviate drought conditions in Kalyana Karnataka districts:

Hosapete/Gadag: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed officials to allocate the necessary funds to ensure an uninterrupted supply of drinking water in the Kalyana Karnataka districts.
Speaking to the officials over the phone he emphasized the critical need to closely monitor the drought situation and its effects. Siddaramaiah underscored that resources should be mobilized without any delay to address the issue of drinking water scarcity.
Speaking at the 'Karnataka Sambhrama-50' event in Gadag later, Siddaramaiah expressed his commitment to shaping society in accordance with the vision of Basavanna.
"Our goal is to forge a society devoid of class and caste divisions, aligning with Basavanna's aspirations. That is why we have introduced guarantee programs that uplift the lives of individuals from all walks of life, irrespective of their caste or religion," Siddaramaiah said.
He highlighted the rich literary heritage of Kannada.
"Five centuries before Shakespeare crafted English literature, the world's most magnificent literary works were composed in Kannada. Luminaries from Pampa to Vachanakars contributed to this exceptional literary legacy," he observed.
In his address, he also underscored the importance of fostering Kannada language and culture in the hearts of all citizens. "Only through this collective effort can we propagate the Kannada ethos throughout the state," Siddaramaiah remarked.
Regarding the drinking water system of Gadag-Betageri twin cities, Siddaramaiah said that Rs. 61 crores had already been allocated, and he assured the readiness of the government to provide additional funds if needed to enhance this essential infrastructure.
