Kurnool: Lord Sri Bramarambha Mallikharjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam witnessed a heavy rush on Sunday as the Kartika Masam draws to an end. To manage the large influx of devotees, the temple authorities have made special arrangements for a hassle-free darshan.

The devotees were allowed to enter the shrine at 3 am following the morning prayers and special rituals conducted from 4:30 am. The devotees had darshan of the presiding deities from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.

Two important rituals -- Arjita Chandi Homam and Rudra Homam -- are performed in stages during this period. To streamline the darshan process and manage the large crowds, a few rituals like Garbhalaya Abhishekam and Samuhika Abhishekam have been suspended during Kartika month.
