APSRTC to operate 6,970 special services for Sankranti

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation plans to operate nearly 6,970 special services to several destinations like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and others on the eve of Sankranti festival.
The APSRTC authorities have planned to run 4,145 special bus services before Sankranti festival and 2,825 after the festival.
All the special services will be run with fare enhanced by 50% from the regular fare.
The APSRTC operated a total of 5,133 special services to the above mentioned destinations during Sankranti festival in 2021. In this year APSRTC has enhanced the number of special services with high expectations on patronage.
