Man Sent to 10 Year RI for Raping Minor

Hyderabad: A court in Rangareddy district sentenced a man, Kanugondla Vinay, 24, to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for the rape of a minor girl. The special judge for fast track trial of Pocso case at LB Nagar also awarded the victim Rs.5 lakh compensation.

The Rachakonda police said that  Vinay, a resident of Gaddiannaram, was arrested in 2016. The court examined the evidence that the police presented and then sentenced the accused.
