Teen burnt alive in Nagole accident
Hyderabad: Thirteen-year-old K. Pradeep was burnt alive at Nagole early on Friday and his father K. Kumar died when a speeding tipper hit their two-wheeler from behind.
Kumar was thrown off the bike and died of severe injuries. The tipper which was speeding dragged the bike and the boy. Petrol from the bike’s fuel tank spilled on the road and caught fire,Nagole sub-inspector T. Srinivas said.
Alerted by passersby, fire tenders and police rushed to the spot and controlled the fire. A case has been registered against the tipper driver identified as Yadagiri and he is detained for investigation. “He was tested for drunk driving, but was negative,” added Srinivas.
According to police, the duo left their residence in Abdullapurmet and were going to a neighbouring village for some work. Enroute the accident happened. Further investigation is under process, the police said.
