CP Nair blasts government for sidelining Administrative Reforms Commission
The employees associations affiliated to the Congress had also raised similar allegations against the government.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former chief secretary C. P. Nair has accused the LDF government of sidelining the Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) headed by veteran leader V S Achuthanandan. Nair who is member of the commission, told a news channel that the government was taking unilateral decisions on issues that are pending before the ARC. He was referring to the January 4 decision of the government regarding formation of Kerala Administrative Service (KAS).
The employees associations affiliated to the Congress had also raised similar allegations against the government. They demanded that the KAS issue should be subjected to detailed scrutiny by the ARC before government took a final decision on he matter. The staff especially those employed in the secretariat have been protesting against government decision on KAS.
