VACB director Jacob Thomas relieved by CM Pinarayi Vijayan's support
The chief minister had earlier stated that the government had full faith in Jacob Thomas.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vigilance Director Jacob Thomas said he had nothing to say on the chief secretary report and finance department probe since everything had been made clear by the chief minister. “The chief minister has said everything, I have nothing to say more,” vigilance chief told media persons who here on Saturday. “It is the chief minister who speaks about all issues concerning the state. He has made everything clear,” the vigilance chief said and added “I am living amidst good hearted people.”
The vigilance director said that the vigilance department has been probing 655 cases and 11,000 complaints during the past eight months. “In these cases and complaints all types of people figure,” he said while replying to a question on the number of cases being registered against IAS officers in the state. The chief minister had earlier stated that the government had full faith in Jacob Thomas.
