Cochin University of Science and Technology launches training on data mining
Eminent resource persons from various parts of the country will handle the sessions.
Kochi: In order to acquire latest knowledge which helps in research, a five-day training programme on ‘Mathematical Models in Data Mining Process’ for the
faculty and PG students is being organized by the Division of Applied Science and Humanities, School of Engineering, Cusat .
Dr. A. B. Bhasi, Controller of Examinations, Cusat, inaugurated the training programme. Dr. Sobha Cyrus, Principal, School of Engineering presided over the function. Dr. K. K. Saju, Director, IRAA , Dr. M. R. Radhakrishna Panicker, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Division and Dr. Sasi Gopalan, Cusat, spoke.
Different methods for developing models in the field of Applied Mathematics & Engineering will be discussed during the next five days. Eminent resource persons from various parts of the country will handle the sessions. Many faculty members, research scholars from different parts of India are participating in the programme.
