TIRUCHY: Azim Premji Foundation, which works to improve quality and equity in school education across the country, has invited more youth to join their task to build a humane society.
A foundation release said here on Thursday that they provide opportunities for those with a passion for social change and deep interest in education.
Opportunities exist for candidates to join Foundation as Associates, School Teachers or Teacher Educators. It said that they mostly concentrate on capacity enhancement of government school teachers, graduates or post-graduates with a good understanding of their subject and passion for school education.
Those with a minimum of two years teaching experience can apply as teacher educators, in the district Institutes of the Azim Premji Foundation. Candidates with substantial on-field experience in education NGOs may also apply. They will work with government school teachers, helping them build their professional abilities and become better teachers in School Education and Early Childhood Education, it added. Opportunities also exist for fresh post-graduates with fluency in the local language.
Applications for associate's role are open till April 15. Students who passed out in 2018 or expected to complete post-graduation in 2019 are eligible to apply, it said.
