Thangallapally PHC of Sircilla received NQAS certificate
WARANGAL: The Primary Health Centre of Thangallapally of Rajanna Sircilla district bagged the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certificate on Thursday.
District collector Anurag Jayanti said that with the special initiative taken by the IT minister K.T.Rama Rao, basic facilities in all the government hospitals have increased as also advanced medical equipment.
“There is also an enormous growth in providing medical services which include Out Patient (OP), In Patient (IP) and surgical services in all the medical departments. Recently, physiotherapy medical services were also brought into utility in the primary health centres present across the district,” he added.
NQAS certificate will be received with the maintenance of the standards as proposed by the National Health System Report Centre (NHSRC).
In the past, Vemulawada and Konaraopet primary health centres and recently PS Nagar primary health centre also received the NQAS certificates. This is an example to tell that the medical services were increased in the government hospitals present across the district, he added.
