Minister K T Rama Rao Extends Support to Family of Deceased Mobile Technician
HYDERABAD: Minister K T Rama Rao met the family members of 42-year-old mobile technician Syed Saifuddin, who was shot dead by a RPF constable in the Jaipur-Mumbai Express train on July 31 and gave her an appointment letter to Saifuddin's wife Anjum Shaheen, posting her to the Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA).
He also sanctioned a two-bedroom flat for her family in Ziaguda.
Rama Rao also handed over a fixed deposit certificate of Rs 6 lakh for Saifuddin’s daughters, Syeeda Saifa, 6, Syeeda Anam Fatima, 3, and six-month-old Syeeda Aquila. Rama Rao added Anjum’s name in the state government’s Aasara scheme which provides pension for widow.
Later in his party office, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi handed over a Rs 3 lakh FD in the name of Anjum’s daughters.
“Akbaruddin Owaisi and home minister Mahmood Ali took us to the Chief Minister. I am thankful to all of them for assisting my family with financial aid, a job and a house within a week of my husband’s death,” Anjum said.
