Cabinet gives 2-year extension to KMRL MD Elias George

Thiruvananthapuram: Cabinet on Tuesday decided to give two-year extension to Elias George, managing director, Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. It has also decided to create 282 posts in Paripally ESI Medical College. K.D. Babu (Kochi) has been posted as additional director of prosecution of Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau. In another decision, the G. Sivarajan Commission has been given a six-month extension and P.V. Surendranath has been included in the list of Supreme Court standing counsels.
