Visakhapatnam: Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command on Saturday concluded their visit to INS Chilka, Indian Navy's premier training establishment for Agniveers.

The Vice Admiral received comprehensive briefings on various aspects related to ongoing training of Agniveers, contemporary training methods, infrastructure growth plans of INS Chilka and implementing green initiatives within the base.

Pendharkar expressed keen interest in understanding the advancements and improvements made in training methodologies to enhance the capabilities of Agniveers.

The Vice Admiral underlined the Indian Navy's commitment to eco-friendly practices. These initiatives would contribute towards minimising the environmental footprint of the training establishment.

Pendharkar appreciated the collective endeavours aimed at enhancing the performance of trainees. He acknowledged the dedication and hard work put in by officers, sailors, and staff in fostering a conducive learning environment.
