Endowments officials inspect TTD offices

Nellore: A team of officials from AP endowments department visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board (TTD) offices on Tuesday to learn on how the temple management is implementing administrative mechanisms and pilgrim-friendly measures in its temples.
Deputed under the instruction of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the team met Sada Bhargavi, TTD joint executive officer for education and health, and participated in a meeting at the conference hall of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati.
The subjects include auditing, accounting, vigilance and security, Annaprasadam, preparation of Prasadams, modernisation of Potu, the mechanism to issue darshan tickets, IT, tenders process, digitisation of records of jewels of Lord Venkateswara, among others.
The officials were also briefed on quality control, sanitation, master plan preparation etc. The heads representing each of these departments also explained to them the administrative methods adopted by them towards successful execution.
The team comprised endowments department joint commissioner Chandrasekhar Azad, SE S. Srinivasa Rao, EEs, and deputy commissioners. Deputy EO of Tirumala temple Ramesh Babu, VGO Manohar, CIO Sandeep, CE OSD Balaji Prasad were present.
